I’m interested in how we can all create lives with meaning and legacies with impact.

We all know that we will have to leave everything behind someday.

Why not let us that inspire us all to be generous, creative, and intentional now?

I spent more than 20 years writing wills and trusts for people in Silicon Valley, once of the richest places on earth. Some of my clients had millions. Some had very little.

And what I learned was that wealth, by which I mean a feeling of material abundance, is incredibly subjective. Sometimes, in fact, it was the people of the most modest means who felt the richest and people with the biggest investment accounts who told me that they felt strapped.

And this got me so curious, which led me to write this newsletter. What is it that motivates people to be generous? What can we learn from those who do, in fact, share their wealth? What gets in our way?

I hope to build a community here of people, like me, who would like to be more generous, to inspire more generosity in the world, and to appreciate the generosity of those who came before us.
